I stayed single for a year and a half after I broke up with Marvin and decided to focus on God, my family, work, and on the ministry where Marvin and I were both involved in. I remember spending most of my time alone when Marvin and I broke up; I’d usually spend my time writing, reading the bible and inspirational books, and sipping on my favorite Chocolate Chip Cream Frappuccino.
As I walked towards a Starbucks store last August 2016, I couldn’t stop smiling as I saw Marvin waiting for me inside, smiling right back at me. We sat on the couch, ordered our favorite donuts, and had a memorable conversation – we were both still so in love with each other.
More than a year has passed since then, and I’m proud to say that we’re now happily married! We even decided to do our pre-nuptial at one of the Starbucks stores. Marvin and I are always thankful for the memories that we have shared at Starbucks.
God makes everything beautiful in its own time. – Ecclesiastes 3:11
